A collaboration between cellist Emil Abramyan (Kingdoms, Other people) and bassist/vocalist Freddy Epstein, Saint Friday creates imaginative and eclectic dance music that reflects the musicians’ wide-ranging experiences in theater, classical, jazz, and dance music. The two musicians met at Manhattan School of Music in the early 2000’s, becoming close friends and eventually building a studio in Brooklyn to produce and explore different sounds.
This EP takes a more theatrical approach to dance music. Each song paints a new scene, creating a tone that reflects the artists’ curiosity and experience living in New York City.

Concept album for the animal wisdom, A CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED SHOW by heather christian THAT WAS performed at THE BUSHWICK STARR IN THE FALL OF 2018. THE ALBUM is split into two halves, the second being a live recording of the requiem mass with full choir. The first half includes two songs that were not featured in the show. hip-hop duo devin howell (mc - aka “dirties on the left”) and freddy epstein (producer/vocals). the two started experimenting with tracks after working together behind the bar and connecting musically. the garbage ep is an eclectic remix project (Bob Dylan, sweet chariot, The deviants, as cities burn, The elgins and fitz & the tantrums) that used numerous elements from source material to reimagine, remix and tell a new story.

Co founded by freddy epstein (bass/vocals/Arranging) and Blaise Beyhan (lead vocals/lyrics), ionia was a nyc-based post-hardcore band that toured both nationally and internationally, including 3 years on warped tour, Taste of chaos and nascar. Ionia’s final album was recorded by mike sapone (brand new, taking back sunday, o’btrother), but the band broke up shortly before release. Here are some of the unreleased recordings from that album.

brooklyn based country-americana band making “whackabilly” music, a raucous, comic mix of country, hillbilly, and americana. Featuring ERin Bruegemann (Vox), Brian Jennings (Vox/Guitar), Michael Ginsberg (Percussion/harmonica), Justin “Smitty” smith (Fiddle), Chris “roadblock” hartway (Electric guitar), Mike riddleberger (drums) and freddy epstein (Bass/Vox). toured both nationally and internationally and featured on the debut album corn money (2009).
